Downsbrook Primary School in Worthing is seeking a positive, caring SEND teaching assistant to join a friendly, supportive team.
The role involves supporting the class teacher, assisting children including those with special educational needs, and undertaking Midday Meals duties; hours are 27.5 per week over 5 days, term-time only.

Salary: TA - NJC Grade 3, SCP 3 - 4, £25,614 - £26,016 p.a. pro rata.
MDM – NJC Grade 3, SCP 3, £25,614 p.a. pro rata.
Actual starting salary - £17,493 p.a.

We are looking for a positive, caring and well-motivated SEND teaching assistant to work
within this friendly and supportive school. Your role requires flexibility in your approach and understanding of the children and requires you to work closely with the class teacher to support the children, including those with additional and/or special educational needs. You will also be expected to undertake Midday Meals duties each day.
