Job description

Location: Havering, RM11

Salary: £15.66 per hour

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM – 3:15 PM

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support to a student with autism in a mainstream school. You will help the student, aged 16-19, overcome barriers to learning and social interactions, supporting their academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide 1:1 support to a student with autism, addressing their learning and emotional needs.
2. Assist with personalized learning plans and help the student engage in classroom activities.
3. Work with staff to track the student’s progress and offer emotional support.

1. Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
