SEND Teaching Assistant – Medway

Are you passionate about supporting students with special educational needs and helping them thrive in a positive and structured learning environment? We are looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic school in Medway, providing tailored support to students with diverse learning needs.

Contract: Part time – September 2025 start

Salary: £70 - £110

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support for students with SEND needs.
  • Foster a safe and engaging learning environment that encourages confidence and independence.
  • Assist with communication, sensory learning, and emotional regulation strategies.
  • Work closely with teachers and specialists to implement personalized learning plans.
  • Encourage social interaction and skill development.
  • Adapt support strategies to help students overcome challenges and succeed.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience working with SEND students, particularly those with autism, ADHD, or additional learning needs.
