Job Description:

A vibrant and dynamic Secondary School in the Borough of Southwark is looking to recruit a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant.

As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support children with a range of SEN needs, including Autism / ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, and Speech & Language difficulties, across various year groups. You will work in a modern, inclusive environment that values warmth and care for both staff and students.

This role is ideal for graduates seeking experience to support their future careers working with children, such as Psychology graduates or aspiring teachers. It is a full-time, long-term position for the entire academic year, offering £85 - £100 per day depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting children with SEN across secondary school years
• Working with children diagnosed with Autism / ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, or Speech & Language difficulties
• Contributing to a high-performing, 'Outstanding' OFSTED-rated school
• Engaging in additional training opportunities

Candidate Requirements:

• A good degree from a reputable university
• Understanding of SEN is essential
• Experience or personal familiarity with SEN is advantageous
• Passion for supporting children with SEN, especially at secondary level
