Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils aged 5-11 across Croydon primary schools. Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities available to fit your schedule.

You will work 1:1 with pupils, collaborating with teachers and SENCOs to implement targets and create a nurturing learning environment. Ideal candidates have at least 6 months experience with SEND, a Level 2 TA qualification (Level 3 desirable), and an Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness

Qualifications

• At least 6 months experience supporting children with additional needs.
• Minimum Level 2 TA qualification; Level 3 desirable.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 tailored support for assigned pupil.
• Support SEND, including ASD, ADHD, Emotional Dysregulation.
• Support learning, emotional regulation, and social development.
• Work with class teachers and SENCOs to implement EHCP targets and support plans.
• Adapt learning resources to meet individual needs of the child.
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
