Qualifications

• Experience working with children with SEND (Autism, ADHD, or speech and language needs is desirable).
• A calm, caring and patient approach.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to adapt quickly to changing needs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with SEND under the direction of the class teacher and SENCO.
• Assist with planning and delivery of personalised learning activities.
• Foster a positive, nurturing relationship with the child to support engagement and well-being.
• Monitor and record progress, feeding back to teachers and professionals as needed.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff, therapists, and the child's family.
