Job summary

Envision Education in St Albans is seeking a caring SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional learning needs in a welcoming school setting. You will help pupils feel confident, engaged and successful in the classroom.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30–3:30, starting in September. You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, adapt strategies to individual needs, and work closely with teachers and the school team to foster positive behaviour and independence.

Qualifications

• At least 3 months experience working with children or young people with SEND.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.

• Knowledge of PECS, Makaton, or other communication approaches.
