Job summary

Envision Education in St Albans is seeking a dedicated SEND Support Assistant to join our SEND school on a full-time basis. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm, in a nurturing and inclusive environment where pupils are supported to reach their full potential through personalised, engaging, and multi-sensory learning.

Qualifications

  • Has previous experience working with children or young people within a UK educational setting.
  • Has experience as a SEND Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Support Worker, or Care Assistant (desirable).
  • Holds an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or is happy to apply for one.
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Is patient, caring, proactive, and passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
  • Enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.

We have an exciting opportunity to join a welcoming and supportive SEND school in St Albans as a SEND Support Assistant. This full-time role offers the chance to work in a nurturing and inclusive environment where every pupil is encouraged to achieve their full potential through personalised, engaging, and multi-sensory learning.

The Role

As a SEND Support Assistant, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 and/or small group support for pupils with a range of additional needs.

Requirements

We're looking for someone who:

Pay: Competitive and dependent on qualifications, experience, and skills.
