Job summary

Lynch Hill School Primary Academy in Slough is seeking an enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant with strong interpersonal skills to support learning and development of pupils with special educational needs, including ASD. The role involves working within a dedicated team to help pupils access the curriculum and grow confidence.

You will work closely with the SENDCo and class teachers to monitor progress and wellbeing, contribute to a calm, inclusive classroom, and help create a positive learning

Qualifications

• Experience working with SEND pupils, preferably ASD.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a supportive team.

Job description

We are keen to appoint an enthusiastic SEND TA with excellent interpersonal skills, who displays initiative, is a team player and, ideally, someone who has experience of working with ASD pupils. The role involves working with Special Education Needs pupils to support their learning and their overall growth and development.

Your duties will be to support allocated pupils through their school day and also liaise with the SENDCo and class teachers with regard to students’ progress and wellbeing.
