Are you an empathetic, patient, and dedicated educator looking to make a massive difference to a single child's school experience?

A vibrant, multicultural primary school in the M14 area is looking for a caring 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant to support a child with additional learning and behavioural needs. This is an incredibly rewarding role where you will see the direct impact of your support every single day.

What the Role Involves:

Individual Support: Working 1:1 with a designated pupil, helping them stay engaged during lessons and navigate their school day.

Tailored Learning: Adapting classroom activities to suit the child's learning style, ensuring lessons are accessible and fun.

Social & Emotional Growth: Supporting the pupil’s social skills, helping them build positive friendships and manage classroom transitions.

Teamwork: Working closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and the pupil’s parents to ensure consistent support.

Proven Experience with SEMH / SEN: You must have hands‑on, practical experience supporting children with additional needs (such as Autism, ADHD, or SEMH).

Enhanced DBS Check: You must hold a valid Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or be fully prepared to apply for one immediately).

Warm and Encouraging Personality: You are naturally positive, patient, and able to build strong, trusting bonds with children.

Reliability: The pupil relies heavily on structure and consistency, so we need someone who is dependable and committed.

Why Join This School?

Incredibly Welcoming Team: You will be joining a highly supportive, friendly staff community that champions inclusion.

Great M14 Location: Super accessible with fantastic bus links (right off the main Wilmslow Road / Curry Mile routes) and free local parking.

Professional Growth: Opportunities for ongoing training, CPD courses, and direct mentorship from experienced SEND professionals.

How to Apply:

If you are passionate about 1:1 support and want to help a child thrive in school, we would love to hear from you.
