Job summary

Step Teachers is seeking a SEND Teacher to provide long-term supply across King’s Lynn and surrounding areas. You will support pupils with SEND in mainstream and specialist settings, adapting lessons to meet EHCP targets and collaborating with SENCOs and support staff.

You should hold QTS or equivalent, have SEND experience, and demonstrate strong differentiation and inclusive teaching strategies. A willingness to obtain Enhanced DBS and flexible school coverage is essential.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children with SEND in mainstream or specialist settings.
  • Strong understanding of differentiation and inclusive teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills as a SEND Teacher.
  • Flexible, reliable, and confident working across different schools.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

SEND Teacher -Long-term supply across King's Lynn and surrounding areas, starting as soon as possible
