Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is seeking Primary Supply Teachers (SEND) for Sheffield and surrounding areas. Flexible start dates, part-time and full-time work available, with paid to scale daily rates based on experience and qualifications.

You will hold QTS and teach SEND pupils, delivering inspiring lessons and supporting a caring, inclusive classroom. We offer excellent daily rates, CPD, pension contributions and access to a dedicated consultant.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Primary or Secondary subject specialism.
• Experience working with children with SEND including a variety of needs (MLD/SLD/ASD/SEMH/SEBD).
• Experience in a specialist SEND setting or strong transferable experience from mainstream teaching.
• Passion for teaching and ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons to SEND students with complex needs.
• Engage with pupils who have needs such as MLD, ASC, ADHD, SLD and SEMH.
• Support learners and contribute to wider school life in a caring, inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Primary or Secondary subject specialism.
• Experience working with children with a variety of SEND including but not limited to MLD/SLD/PMLD/ASD/SEMH/SEBD/PD/VI/HI and other complex needs or behaviours that challenge.
• Have previous experience within a similar specialist setting or strong transferable experience from a mainstream setting.
• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of SEND Teachers and LSAs
• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.

As a SEND Teacher this is a great chance to shape the future of students and make a positive impact on their lives. In this role you will work with the most vulnerable students, advancing their education in lessons and in wider school life. The role will require you to engage with pupils who have needs such as MLD, ASC, ADHD, SLD and SEMH. The right candidate must be confident within the classroom and dealing with challenging behaviours.
