Job summary

PK Education in Sheffield is seeking a motivated Supply SEND Teacher to work across specialist schools, resource provisions and SEND settings on day-to-day, short-term and long-term placements.

You will deliver differentiated lessons, manage behaviours with positive strategies, and collaborate closely with teaching assistants, therapists, SENCOs and families to create inclusive learning environments that help every pupil thrive.

Qualifications

• Qualified SEND Teacher with current certification.
• Experience delivering differentiated lessons across EYFS to Secondary SEND settings.
• Ability to adapt teaching to individual learning needs.

At PK Education, we are looking for experienced and adaptable Supply SEND Teachers seeking day-to-day, short-term, or long-term placements across specialist schools, resource provisions, and SEND settings. Ideal Experience Supporting Pupils With:

• Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
• Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
• Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD)
• Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
• Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
• Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD)

Essential

• Qualified and experienced SEND Teacher.
• Strong understanding of individual learning needs and personalised teaching approaches.
• Experience delivering differentiated lessons across EYFS, Primary, and Secondary SEND settings.
• Skilled in using visual supports, sensory strategies, communication aids, and structured routines.
• Confident in managing complex behaviours using positive behaviour support strategies.
• Experienced working collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, SENCOs, and families.
• Calm, patient, and nurturing approach that helps pupils build confidence, independence, and resilience.
