Protocol Education is seeking an enthusiastic SEND Teacher for a long-term, full-time position in Gateshead. You will work with pupils who have Autism, SEMH, ADHD and communication difficulties to deliver engaging, personalised learning.

SEND Teacher – Gateshead

Could you help pupils with additional needs build confidence, independence and achieve their potential?

A specialist SEND school in Gateshead is looking for a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher to join their supportive team on a full-time, long-term basis.

You’ll be working with pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism, SEMH, ADHD and communication difficulties, delivering engaging and personalised learning that meets each pupil’s individual needs.

About the Role

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
• Support pupils with a range of SEND needs
• Adapt teaching to suit individual learning styles and abilities
• Create a calm, positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Support pupils to develop academically, socially and emotionally
• Contribute to EHCP targets and individual learning plans
• Work closely with Teaching Assistants, families and other professionals
• Monitor progress and celebrate pupil achievements
