Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd. is recruiting a resilient SEN Teacher to join a specialist setting in Gateshead, supporting pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs. You will provide structure, consistency and a personalised approach to learning, building trust and raising aspirations.

The role involves planning engaging lessons, managing behaviour, and working with TAs and pastoral staff to meet EHCP targets. Salary is competitive and dependent on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with SEMH, SEND, PRU, or behaviour-focused settings is highly desirable.
  • Strong behaviour management skills and the desire to move into specialist education.

SEN Teacher | SEMH & Behaviour | Gateshead

Protocol Education are recruiting for a resilient and confident SEN Teacher to join a specialist setting in Gateshead, supporting pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs.

The pupils may have found mainstream education challenging and require a teacher who can provide structure, consistency and a personalised approach to learning.

Location: Gateshead
Job Type: Full Time, Term Time Only
Start Date: As soon as available
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, school hours
Salary: £31,650–£51,048 per annum / PAYE, dependent on experience and qualifications

The Role

As the teacher, you will:
