Job summary

Empowering Learning in Solihull is seeking an experienced SEND Teacher to join a primary school. This full-time temporary role involves leading a class of pupils with ASD, complex needs and SEBD, delivering engaging, differentiated lessons and providing a structured, nurturing environment to support those requiring an alternative approach to mainstream education.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS with SEND experience, a strong knowledge of the UK SEND and Alternative Provision curriculum,

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with SEND experience.
• Strong knowledge of UK SEND and Alternative Provision curriculum.
• Experience supporting pupils with ASD and complex needs.
• Safeguarding Level 1 trained.
• Enhanced DBS registered with Update Service.

Responsibilities

• Lead a primary class of pupils with ASD and SEBD.
• Deliver differentiated lessons and provide a structured, nurturing environment.
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure high-quality, personalised support.
