Job summary

JobsTrackR is recruiting a dedicated SEND Teacher for a specialist school in Bromley, working KS1–KS4 with PMLD and complex needs. The role requires highly individualized teaching and collaboration with therapists, families and other professionals to support pupil learning and daily living skills.

You will plan engaging lessons, use AAC and sensory approaches, monitor progress against EHCP targets, and contribute to reviews and reports. Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm, full-time.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching pupils with PMLD/SEND
• Knowledge of safeguarding and behaviour support
• Experience in a specialist SEND setting

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver personalized lessons for pupils with PMLD
• Create a safe, inclusive learning environment that promotes communication
• Collaborate with Teaching Assistants, therapists, families and external professionals
• Lead multidisciplinary approach to meeting pupils' educational, physical, communication and personal care needs
• Monitor progress against EHCP outcomes and individual targets
• Use AAC, sensory strategies and intensive interaction
• Contribute to annual reviews, reports and professional meetings
