Find Recruitment Group LTD is seeking a passionate SEND Teacher to deliver engaging English lessons in a West Yorkshire setting. You will support pupils with complex needs, differentiate learning, and collaborate with TAs and the school team to raise outcomes.

The role requires QTS/QTLS and at least two years’ SEND experience, with a focus on inclusivity, safeguarding, and professional development through funded training and progression opportunities.

Location: West Yorkshire

Salary: £44,300 per annum

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week

The Role

Our client, a specialist education provider in the West Yorkshire area, is looking for a passionate and experienced SEND Teacher with a focus on English to join their supportive team.

This is an opportunity to work within a specialist setting supporting pupils with a range of complex needs and behaviours that can challenge. The school maintains a high staff-to-pupil ratio, allowing teachers to provide highly individualised support and create a safe, nurturing environment where pupils can engage with learning and make meaningful progress.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging, inclusive English lessons while supporting pupils working towards appropriate nationally recognised qualifications and internal accreditation.

About You

• QTS or QTLS.
• A minimum of two years' experience working within a SEND environment or similar specialist provision.
• Experience teaching English, ideally to secondary or KS4-level learners.
• A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs.
• The ability to differentiate learning for pupils working at varying academic levels.
• Confidence supporting pupils who may display behaviours that challenge.
• A collaborative and resilient approach to working within a specialist education environment.
