Find Recruitment Group LTD is assisting a specialist education provider in West Yorkshire to recruit a SEND Teacher for English. You will plan and deliver inclusive English lessons, supporting pupils with a range of complex needs to achieve national qualifications in a nurturing environment.

The role requires QTS/ QTLS, at least two years in SEND, and a passion for helping children with additional needs. Competitive salary and progression opportunities are offered in a supportive setting.

Salary: £44,300 per annum

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week

The Role

Our client, a specialist education provider in the West Yorkshire area, is looking for a passionate and experienced SEND Teacher with a focus on English to join their supportive team.

This is an opportunity to work within a specialist setting supporting pupils with a range of complex needs and behaviours that can challenge. The school maintains a high staff-to-pupil ratio, allowing teachers to provide highly individualised support and create a safe, nurturing environment where pupils can engage with learning and make meaningful progress.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging, inclusive English lessons while supporting pupils working towards appropriate nationally recognised qualifications and internal accreditation.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging learning within English, adapted to individual pupil needs and abilities.
• Support pupils with SEND, complex needs and challenging behaviours to make academic and personal progress.
• Create a safe, structured and nurturing classroom environment.
• Work closely with teaching assistants and the wider multidisciplinary school team.
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement with learning.
• Contribute to reports, curriculum development and data collection.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, families and other relevant stakeholders.
• Follow whole-school approaches to teaching, learning, safeguarding and behaviour.

About You
