Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience working with children or young people with SEND.
• Strong understanding of inclusive education and differentiated teaching.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
• Support pupils with a range of needs, including ASC, ADHD, SEMH, communication difficulties and learning disabilities.
• Develop and implement individual learning plans and EHCP targets.
• Monitor, assess and record pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed.
• Create a safe, positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents, carers and external professionals.
• Promote pupils’ independence, confidence, communication and social development.
