Senploy is seeking an experienced SEND Teacher to join a specialist primary class in Bolton, supporting eight pupils aged 6-9 with autism and complex learning needs. The role involves planning, delivering pre-formal learning experiences and using PECS/visual communication to foster engagement.

The position is full-time, temporary with potential to become permanent for the right candidate, with start after October half term. A supportive team and ongoing SEND Inclusion Support accompany placement.

Competenze

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.
• Experience teaching pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition and complex SEND.
• Knowledge of pre-formal or sensory-based learning approaches.
• Experience supporting non-verbal pupils and alternative communication methods such as PECS.
• Calm, patient and consistent approach to behaviour support.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Experience supporting pupils with PICA, medical needs or complex behaviours would be highly beneficial.
