Job summary

Vision For Education Ltd. is recruiting a SEND Teacher for a specialist school in Tameside. You will deliver engaging, personalised learning for pupils aged 4–19 with Autism and complex needs in a supportive, well-resourced setting.

Working full-time on a temporary basis, you will collaborate with experienced staff and therapists to tailor learning, promote independence and well-being while delivering high-quality education.

Qualifications

• Hold a recognised UK teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS or equivalent).
• Experience working with SEND pupils in specialist or inclusive settings.
• Strong understanding of Autism, complex needs and differentiated teaching approaches.
• Be creative, adaptable and reflective, tailoring learning to a wide range of abilities.
• Communicate effectively with pupils, families and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, personalised learning for pupils with Autism and complex needs.
• Collaborate with support staff, therapists and senior leaders to create inclusive learning experiences.
• Adapt teaching across a broad, meaningful curriculum to support pupil wellbeing and progression.
• Contribute to pupil wellbeing and lifelong learning within a nurturing environment.
