Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a SEND Teacher for a welcoming specialist school in Cirencester. You will plan and deliver an engaging Early Years curriculum tailored to pupils with SLD and PMLD, working full-time on a long-term basis with an immediate start.

QTS is required, with experience of EYFS and supporting pupils with additional needs. The role offers competitive daily rates (£145–£230), ongoing CPD, and a supportive consultant team.

Job Title: SEND Teacher

Start Date: Immediate Start

Salary: £145 - £230 per day

The school is looking to take on a SEND Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis with an Immediate Start. The successful SEND Teacher will work within Early Years, planning and delivering a creative and engaging curriculum while adapting learning to meet the individual needs of pupils with SLD and PMLD.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:

• QTS
• Experience working with children and young people with additional needs
• Experience supporting pupils with SLD and/or PMLD
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS
• The ability to adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs
• A patient, resilient and supportive approach
