Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEND in Southport. The role involves 1:1 and small-group support, focusing on autism, ADHD, challenging behaviour and complex needs, helping with academic, emotional and behavioural development, and delivering targeted interventions in a nurturing, inclusive learning environment.

You'll build positive relationships with pupils, work closely with class staff, and promote safeguarding while supporting classroom

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children with SEND.
• Experience supporting autism and/or complex needs is desirable.
• Patient, resilient and nurturing approach.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Good understanding of safeguarding.
• Relevant TA, LSA or education experience is desirable.
