Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant for a specialist school in Bury, Greater Manchester. You will provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with EHCPs and additional needs, assisting the class teacher and delivering tailored interventions.

We are looking for candidates with SEND experience, strong communication, a calm and proactive approach, and a relevant TA qualification. Right to work in the UK and safeguarding checks are required to join our supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND in a school or care setting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively.
• Calm, compassionate, proactive approach and understanding of Autism and SEND.
• Eligible to work in the UK with right to work and relevant DBS.

Responsibilities

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £525 - £600 per week / Competitive (dependent on experience and responsibilities)

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
