Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEND in a North Liverpool school. You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, focusing on autism, ADHD and complex needs, helping with academics, emotions and behaviour.

The role requires patience, resilience and strong communication to build relationships with pupils and staff, promoting an inclusive learning environment. Start date ASAP, full-time contract.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND
• Experience supporting autism and/or complex needs is desirable
• Patient, resilient and nurturing approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Good understanding of safeguarding
• Relevant TA, LSA or education experience is desirable
