Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking passionate SEN teachers to support schools and specialist provisions across Northamptonshire. This is a full-time role for experienced practitioners committed to helping young people with SEND and SEMH thrive in a supportive learning environment.

Ideal candidates hold QTS/QTLS, have prior SEN/SEMH experience, and can deliver differentiated lessons for KS3 and KS4. Travel between multiple sites across Northamptonshire is essential, and a DBS check is preferred or

Qualifications

  • Holds QTS/QTLS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Has experience working with pupils with SEND and/or SEMH needs.
  • Has experience teaching or supporting learners across KS3 and KS4.
  • Is confident managing challenging behaviour using positive approaches.
  • Willing and able to travel across Northamptonshire.
  • Holds a valid enhanced DBS or willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

  • Full-time teaching opportunities across KS3 and KS4.

  • Creating a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment.

Contract: Full-time

We are seeking passionate, resilient and adaptable SEN Teachers to support schools and specialist provisions across Northamptonshire.

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced teachers who are committed to making a positive difference to the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

The Role
  • Full-time teaching opportunities
  • Teaching and supporting pupils across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Delivering engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
  • Supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH and behavioural needs
  • Creating a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment
  • Building positive relationships and supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development
  • Working across schools and provisions throughout Northamptonshire, so a willingness to travel is essential
The Ideal Candidate
