SEND Teacher – Autism, ADHD, ADD & PMLD
Location: Leeds (Multi-site settings)
Pay: Based on experience and qualifications

If so, we’ve got a teaching role that needs you. We’re working with schools across Leeds looking for compassionate, confident SEND Teachers to support pupils with Autism, ADHD, ADD and PMLD.
Whether you’ve been teaching for years or you’re newly qualified and ready to roll up your sleeves, if you care deeply and teach creatively – this could be your next favourite job.
What you’ll be doing:
Delivering engaging, sensory-aware lessons tailored to a wide range of learning needs
Supporting pupils with complex communication, sensory processing, and emotional regulation
Using visuals, routines, and structure to reduce anxiety and build independence
Working closely with TAs, therapists, and parents to create consistency and progress
Leading 1:1 and small group sessions with patience, purpose, and a smile
Celebrating every small win (because they matter just as much as the big ones)
You’ll need to bring:
QTS or ECT/NQT status
Experience teaching or supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, complex needs or PMLD
A warm but firm approach to behaviour support – you know when to give space and when to guide
A sense of humour, a sense of timing, and a strong brew game wouldn’t hurt either
A reliable way to get to school – and a flexible, team-first attitude once you’re there

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
