Job description

SEND Teacher – Autism, ADHD, ADD & PMLD
Location: Leeds (Multi-site settings)
Pay: Based on experience and qualifications

Are you the calm in a storm, the structure in the chaos, and the smile that lights up a tricky day?
If so, we’ve got a teaching role that needs you. We’re working with schools across Leeds looking for compassionate, confident SEND Teachers to support pupils with Autism, ADHD, ADD and PMLD.

Whether you’ve been teaching for years or you’re newly qualified and ready to roll up your sleeves, if you care deeply and teach creatively – this could be your next favourite job.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Delivering engaging, sensory-aware lessons tailored to a wide range of learning needs

  • Supporting pupils with complex communication, sensory processing, and emotional regulation

  • Using visuals, routines, and structure to reduce anxiety and build independence

  • Working closely with TAs, therapists, and parents to create consistency and progress

  • Leading 1:1 and small group sessions with patience, purpose, and a smile

  • Celebrating every small win (because they matter just as much as the big ones)

You’ll need to bring:

  • QTS or ECT/NQT status

  • Experience teaching or supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, complex needs or PMLD

  • A warm but firm approach to behaviour support – you know when to give space and when to guide

  • A sense of humour, a sense of timing, and a strong brew game wouldn’t hurt either

  • A reliable way to get to school – and a flexible, team-first attitude once you’re there

In return, you’ll get:

  • Weekly pay, no umbrella deductions

  • A dedicated SEND consultant who actually understands your day-to-day

  • Full and part-time roles to fit your life

  • Access to FREE safeguarding, Thrive training, Team Teach, and SEND CPD

  • The chance to make a genuine impact, every single day
