Role Responsibilities:

1. Effectively teach designated pupils and undertake associated pastoral and general teaching duties.
2. Provide high-quality and continuous education in the absence of the regular class teacher.
3. Establish a warm, caring, and supportive relationship with pupils.
4. Manage challenging behaviour effectively.
5. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
6. Support the use of support staff relevant to the class.
7. Contribute to maintaining a safe and secure learning environment.

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous teaching/lecturing experience.
• Experience working with a range of SEN needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH.
• Ability to establish supportive relationships with pupils.
• Effective behaviour management skills.
• Strong communication skills.
