Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking passionate SEND Teachers for September starts in Chelmsford. You will support pupils with a range of needs across primary SEND schools, taking on daily supply, short-term, long-term and permanent placements. A dedicated consultant will assist your journey and help you secure flexible opportunities.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Have experience working with SEND pupils (school-based or specialist settings).

• Demonstrate excellent behaviour management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality lessons to SEND pupils across settings.
• Adapt teaching to individual needs and varied abilities.
• Collaborate with schools, agency consultants and support staff to plan and assess.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to pupils and teams.
