Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a SEND Class Teacher to join our client schools in Lewisham for a September 2026 start. The role focuses on supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a caring and inclusive environment.

The successful candidate will hold QTS or equivalent, have SEND experience, and be skilled in inclusive teaching strategies, behaviour support, and collaboration with families and external agencies to develop EHCP targets and monitor

• Experience working with children with SEND, preferably within a specialist setting.

We are working with schools in the South East and East London. Our schools caters for pupils with diverse learning needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), and moderate to severe learning difficulties.

The Role
