Job summary

Aspire People are looking for qualified teachers with QTS to support SEND schools across Birmingham. We have opportunities for teachers looking for day-to-day supply, short-term cover and longer-term assignments.

You will deliver engaging lessons, adapt learning to meet individual needs and maintain a positive, structured classroom environment, while safeguarding pupil welfare and following school policies.

Qualifications

• QTS held and current UK teaching experience.
• Recent teaching experience in a UK school.
• Experience working with pupils with SEND.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management.
• Flexible and patient approach.
• Ability to adapt teaching to individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons and adapt learning to individual needs.
• Create a positive, structured classroom environment.
• Support SEND pupils in line with school policies.
• Contribute to safeguarding and welfare of pupils.

We are particularly interested in teachers with experience supporting pupils with:

• Autism / ASD
• ADHD
• SEMH and challenging behaviour
• Complex needs
• Learning difficulties
• SLD / MLD
• PMLD

You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, adapting learning to meet individual needs and creating a positive, structured classroom environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

• QTS
• Recent teaching experience within a UK school
• Experience working with pupils with SEND
• Strong classroom and behaviour management
• A flexible and patient approach
• The ability to adapt teaching to individual needs
