Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a SEND Teacher for a long-term role at a SEND setting in Northfield, South Birmingham, with an immediate start. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, adapt teaching to meet individual needs and work closely with support staff to provide a consistent approach for pupils with SEND.

The role requires QTS and experience teaching children with SEND; you will join a supportive team dedicated to helping pupils develop confidence, independence and reach their potential.

Start Date: Immediate Start

Salary: £170 - £220 per day

The setting provides a supportive and structured environment where pupils are encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and achieve their potential.

The school is looking to appoint a SEND Teacher on a long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful SEND Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons, adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs and work closely with support staff to provide a consistent approach for pupils with SEND.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:

• QTS
• Experience teaching children and young people with SEND
• Experience adapting lessons to meet a range of individual needs
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
