Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking caring SEND Teachers to work in specialist schools and alternative provisions around Bradford. You’ll support pupils with a range of needs, helping them grow in confidence and in the classroom.

Deliver engaging lessons, build trusting relationships, and collaborate with TA teams, SENCOs and therapists to foster both academic progress and emotional wellbeing.

Qualifications

• QTS/QTLS or strong SEND teaching experience
• Experience in SEND, SEMH, SEN or specialist education is desirable
• Confidence adapting lessons to suit a range of needs
• A calm, compassionate and flexible approach

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons that meet individual learning needs
• Adapt teaching for pupils with ASD, SEMH, PMLD and other complex needs
• Build positive relationships where trust comes first
• Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, therapists and wider school teams
• Create calm, structured classrooms where pupils can thrive
• Support both academic progress and emotional wellbeing

What you'll be doing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
