Job summary

Monarch Education urgently requires a SEND Teaching Assistant to work across Sandwell schools on a day-to-day basis, with long-term placements that may become permanent.

The role focuses on supporting children with SEMH/ADHD/Autism/Non-Verbal needs, requiring Level 2/3/4+ qualifications and EYFS/KS1/KS2 experience. SEND experience is essential to thrive in this environment.

Qualifications

• SEND experience and ability to work across Sandwell schools.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day teaching assistant support across multiple schools.
• Assist with pupils with complex social, emotional and mental health needs.
• Support pupils with autism spectrum conditions and additional learning difficulties.

£95 to £110.24 depending on PAYE or Umbrella and experience per day

Sandwell schools

May and September 2026 start dates

We urgently require a teaching assistant with the following experience to work across schools on a day to day basis, long term roles that may go permanent.

Do you have the following experience in supporting children:-

SEMH/ADHD/Autism/Non Verbal

Level 2, 3 or 4+ Qualification

EYFS / KS1 / KS2 experience

SEND experience

We work with schools around the Sandwell area who are looking for a teaching assistant who has experience of working with children who have a wide range of complex social, emotional and mental health needs. Children who have a diagnosis on the autistic spectrum and additional learning difficulties. If you can make a difference, we would love to hear from you.
