Job summary

Monarch Education is urgently seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support children with SEMH, ADHD, autism and other needs in Sandwell schools. Roles are day-to-day with potential long-term/permanent progression and May/September 2026 starts.

Applicants should have Level 2/3/4+ qualifications and experience in EYFS/KS1/KS2 SEND settings, including non-verbal and complex needs. Training and safeguarding requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEMH/ADHD/Autism/Non-Verbal needs.
• Level 2/3/4+ qualifications required.
• Experience across EYFS/KS1/KS2 and SEND settings.

Responsibilities

• Support children with SEMH/ADHD/Autism and other needs.
• Assist across EYFS to KS2 settings and day-to-day cover.
• Work across Sandwell schools on short- and long-term placements.

£95 to £110.24 depending on PAYE or Umbrella and experience per day

May and September 2026 start dates

We urgently require a teaching assistant with the following experience to work across schools on a day to day basis, long term roles that may go permanent.

Do you have the following experience in supporting children:-

• SEMH/ADHD/Autism/Non Verbal


• Level 2, 3 or 4+ Qualification


• EYFS / KS1 / KS2 experience


• SEND experience

We work with schools around the Sandwell area who are looking for a teaching assistant who has experience of working with children who have a wide range of complex social, emotional and mental health needs. Children who have a diagnosis on the autistic spectrum and additional learning difficulties. If you can make a difference, we would love to hear from you.
