Job summary

Monarch Education is seeking qualified Teaching Assistants to support SEN pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 on a full-time or part-time basis. Roles include 1:1 support, group activities and general TA duties starting September, October or November 2026.

We welcome applicants with recent TA experience or those who have recently qualified, and are committed to helping students thrive in a supportive school setting around Walsall.

Qualifications

• Recent, relevant experience as a teaching assistant within EYFS KS1 KS2.
• Previous experience with SEN students preferred.
• Flexible, committed, motivational and passionate about teaching.
• A current DBS or willing to complete a new one.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are currently looking for qualified a Teaching Assistant across multiple subjects to work on either a full-time or part-time basis, working both 1:1 with SEN primary pupils, group work, and general TA – Starting September, October and November 2026.

We are looking for a dedicated and motivational TA to help support both Key stage 1 & 2 pupils. Whether you have multiple years’ worth of teaching experience or you have recently qualified, we want to hear from you!

The ideal candidate will hold the following qualifications and skills:

• Has recent, relevant experience as a teaching assistant within the EYFS KS1 KS2.
• Previous experience with SEN students is preferred.

Salary & working hours

Daily rates of pay vary dependent on experience between £92.59 to £110.24 per day
