Job summary

Monarch Education in the West Midlands is urgently seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support children with SEMH/ADHD/Autism across Sandwell schools. The role is day-to-day and may lead to long-term permanent positions, with start dates in May or September 2026.

PAYE or Umbrella daily rates range from £95 to £110.24 depending on experience, with a focus on safeguarding and dedicated CPD training through our Affinity Academy.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEMH/ADHD/Autism.
• Qualification at Level 2/3/4+.
• EYFS / KS1 / KS2 experience.
• SEND experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Work across Sandwell schools on a day-to-day basis.
• Support children with broad SEN needs and complex social, emotional and mental health needs.
• Long-term roles may become permanent.

We urgently require a teaching assistant with the following experience to work across schools on a day to day basis, long term roles that may go permanent.

Do you have the following experience in supporting children:-

• SEMH/ADHD/Autism/Non Verbal
• Level 2, 3 or 4+ Qualification
• EYFS / KS1 / KS2 experience
• SEND experience

We work with schools around the Sandwell area who are looking for a teaching assistant who has experience of working with children who have a wide range of complex social, emotional and mental health needs.
