Zusammenfassung

London South East Colleges (LSEC) is seeking a dedicated support worker to assist learners with SEND across our provision. You will help learners access programmes, engage with College services and develop skills identified in EHCPs, while maintaining dignity and respect in all interactions.

The role involves assisting learners with a range of needs, including personal care and mobility, in a person-centred, supportive environment that promotes independence and confidence.

Qualifikationen

• Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
• Ability to build trust-based relationships with learners, staff and parents/carers.
• Understanding safeguarding and discrimination barriers for learners with additional needs.

Aufgaben

• Provide person-centred support to learners with complex needs.
• Support learners with personal care or mobility needs when required.
• Help learners develop independence and engagement with college services and EHCP outcomes.
