Job summary

London South East Colleges (LSEC) seeks a confident SEN qualified practitioner to support and tutor learners with identified learning difficulties or disabilities, helping them prepare for national and local exams and develop social skills for employment or higher education.

The role requires Level 3 SEN qualifications (or equivalent) and a full teaching qualification (or working towards). Strong interpersonal, motivational, organisational, IT and administrative skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified SEN practitioner with Level 3 or working towards.
• Full teaching qualification or working towards.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; capable of motivating others.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and tuition to learners with identified learning difficulties or disabilities.
• Help learners gain skills for national and local exams.
• Develop social skills and behaviours for employment or higher education.
• Organise lessons and administrative tasks.
