Job summary

St John's CE First School is seeking a Teaching Assistant G5 to join our dedicated team. The role involves 1:1 support and group work for pupils with disabilities, learning difficulties or behavioural challenges. The salary is £15,360 - £15,604 per annum (Grade 5) for 25 hours per week, term-time only over 39 weeks.

The post is fixed-term until 31 December 2026, starting around 19 October 2026. Hours are 8:45am to 2:15pm with a 30-minute lunch, five days a week, subject to business need.

• Experience supporting SEND pupils in 1:1 and small group settings.
