Job summary

St James' CE Primary in London is seeking a dedicated role to support children across Early Years and the primary phase. The post involves working with class teachers to deliver engaging learning, fostering a positive, inclusive classroom, and assisting with activities, play and development.

The role is fixed term with the potential to become permanent, 32.5 hours per week during term time plus 5 INSET days, with a 30-minute lunch; immediate start available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Supporting children in across Early years & the primary phase
• Working collaboratively with class teachers to deliver engaging and effective learning opportunities.
• Fostering a positive, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
• Assisting with classroom activities, supporting children's learning, play and development
• Supervise lunch, nurturing and supporting play during the midday break
