Qualifications

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Appropriate qualifications and/or relevant experience with young people.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection policies.
  • Willingness to undertake SEND leadership development.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Assistant Headteacher in maintaining records of students with SEND.
  • Coordinate interventions, meetings and assessments.
  • Monitor student progress and document outcomes.
  • Maintain confidentiality of student information.
  • Liaise with external agencies.
  • Work with families and the community.
  • Provide support to the wider Student Support Team.
  • Ensure all five components of Every Child Matters are met for each subject.
