Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking SEND/SEMH Teaching Assistants for roles across Solihull, in both mainstream and specialist schools. You will support pupils with SEND on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, helping them access learning and engage in class activities.

Ideal candidates will have prior SEND experience, an Enhanced DBS, and a genuine passion for supporting learners with additional needs. Flexible full-time or part-time placements available, with competitive weekly pay and CPD

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in SEND or educational settings.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to follow EHCPs and behaviour support strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Support pupils with Autism, ADHD, and other learning needs.
• Help pupils access learning and engage in classroom activities.
• Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour in class.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams.
• Follow individual learning plans and EHCPs.
