Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with Special Educational Needs? Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting SEND and SEMH Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming mainstream and specialist schools throughout Solihull. We have opportunities available for experienced Teaching Assistants, as well as individuals with relevant transferable experience who are looking to develop their careers within education and SEND.
You will play an important role in supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Autism (ASC/ASD), ADHD, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, learning difficulties and complex needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to help young people overcome barriers to learning, develop their confidence and independence, and achieve their full potential.
As a SEND/SEMH Teaching Assistant, you may be supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis, in small groups or within the classroom, depending on the needs of the school and individual learners.
We also welcome applications from individuals with relevant experience in care, youth work, residential support or other roles supporting children and young people with additional needs.
