Job summary

Integra Education (North) LTD is recruiting dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team in Warrington. This role involves supporting children and young people with SEMH needs, complex behaviours and SEND, in a busy school environment.

You'll work alongside teachers, assist with lesson planning, monitor pupil progress, supervise during non-class time, and help create a safe, inclusive learning space. The position is full-time, temporary, and pays £110 per day (UMB) during term time.

Qualifications

• Strong basic education required with GCSE English and Maths.
• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification desired but not essential.
• Commitment to professional development and safeguarding responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and support one pupil or small groups.
• Support classroom teachers during lessons.
• Report on pupils' progress and liaise with school staff.
• Supervise pupils during non-classroom time and school trips.
• Assist with lesson planning and classroom preparation.
• Set work and mark where appropriate.
• Foster positive relationships and learning outcomes.
