Job summary

Integra Education (North) LTD is actively recruiting Teaching Assistants to support schools across Warrington and surrounding areas. You will work with children with SEMH, SEND and complex needs, providing 1:1 support or small-group assistance to help them overcome barriers to learning.

The role involves assisting in class, monitoring progress, and helping create a safe, inclusive learning environment. £110 per day. Temporary, term time only, full-time equivalents available.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or above in supporting teaching and learning.
• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support role.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH, SEND or additional learning needs.
• Confidence in behaviour management and de-escalation techniques.
• A proactive, patient and compassionate approach.
• Good IT skills and excellent communication skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Providing dedicated 1:1 support or working with small groups of pupils.
• Supporting the class teacher to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
• Monitoring pupil progress and reporting any concerns to the wider school team.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and building strong, supportive relationships with pupils.
• Helping to create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
