Job summary

Integra Education (North) LTD are seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team in Wigan. The role focuses on supporting children with SEMH and SEND needs and involves assisting with lessons and monitoring pupil progress.

This full-time, temporary position offers competitive pay of £110 per day and a chance to work in a supportive, inclusive team. The role is term-time only with September start and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English Language and Mathematics and sound IT skills.
• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a similar role.
• Experience with SEMH or SEND within an educational setting.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and support one pupil or small groups.
• Support the classroom teacher during lessons.
• Report pupils' progress and concerns to school staff.
• Supervise pupils during non-classroom time and school trips.
• Assist with lesson planning and classroom preparation.
• Set work and mark as appropriate, building positive relationships and learning outcomes.
