Job summary

A small independent school in the Grantham area NG31 serving 5-16 year-olds with SEND, primarily SEMH and neurodevelopmental needs, is seeking a full-time SEND/SEMH QTS Teacher. The role runs 8:30-16:00 with small classes and 1-1 TA support. Start date ASAP.

A DBS check is required, and ECTs are encouraged to apply as equivalents will be considered. Applicants should be confident teaching Maths and English and hold QTS.

SEND/SEMH QTS Teacher

A small independent school in Grantham area NG31 servicing 5-16 year-olds with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) with the primary need of Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) as well as neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism, ADHD,ADD and attachment, is looking for a full time teacher.

• Start date: Asap!
• Duration: long term
• Working hours: 8.30-16.00
• Class size: 3-5 pupils (based on abilities not on age) with dedicated TAs assigned for 1-1 support in the classroom.

• You must be confident to teach both Math and English
• Have QTS status, ECT are encouraged to apply (the school will consider other equivalents)
• Have a current enhanced DBS for child force or willing to apply.
