Job summary

Aspire People are seeking a SEND 1-1 Teaching Assistant to join our schools in Grantham. This full-time role runs 8:30am-3:30pm Monday-Friday with a daily rate of 105–115 GBP, depending on experience.

You will work closely with SENCO and support staff to design and implement learning schemes for pupils with additional learning needs, adapting resources to individual styles and promoting independence and confidence.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEN, including autism/ADHD/SEMH.
• Ability to adapt resources for individual learning needs.
• Promote independence and build confidence in learners.

Role Highlights:

• 1:1 Teaching Assistant role, supporting children with additional needs in the classroom.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with SENCO and support staff to design and implement learning schemes for pupils with additional learning needs.

You will adapt resources to cater for individual learning styles and promote independent learning. You will be a positive role model to the student and set appropriate targets to boost confidence and self-esteem.

It is important that you have good knowledge of Special Educational Needs such as Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs and behavioural disorders to be able to support these pupils effectively.
